BRAIN TUMORS
Meningioma
Meningiomas are benign tumors that arise from the outer covering of the brain. As they grow, they can cause brain compression, so even if they do not come from the brain per se, they can give rise to neurological symptoms. Larger meningiomas are treated with surgery, and for those that are not safe to operate on, radiation therapy is a reasonable treatment option.
